Every class and every band has it’s comedian, and for The Random Strangers that guy is George (Geo) Spriggs. He provides comic relief for the band — and in addition he a pretty mean bass player, which is a good thing because he is our bass player, and “it’s all about the bass”. Geo also plays guitar , mandolin, drums and a little keys, in addition he provides lead and harmony vocals to thicken the band soup. Geo flew his dog, Poncho, to Nashville TN to keep his son company. (No, he really did!). So… technically he doesn’t have a dog anymore. Geo plays a Carvin AC40 electric bass and just loves it. He has a G&L ASAT bass as his backup. He also has way more guitars than he needs. For some reason Geo just loves Martha White Self-Rising Flour, “The all-purpose flour”.
